virmlab

virmlab is an open source channel modelling tool developed in Mathwork's Matlab by Ulf Carlberg. Antenna far-fields can be imported or generated and statistical distributions of incident plane waves can be generated. Input is in general given in Matlab scripts, in order to have maximum flexibility. The output can then be presented in 2D and 3D graphs. Typically CDF curves are presented.

virmlab is available for download.

Below three images show the far-field of an antenna, statistical variation of the electric field when 100 random waves are incident, and CDF curves after a simulation, respectively.
